Hema is a grounded and experienced professional with expertise in counselling, life skills facilitation, and community mobilisation. Her work has largely focused on supporting women and adolescent girls, particularly in contexts marked by vulnerability, structural violence, and limited access to care. She holds a Master's in Social Work from Janardhan Rai Nagar University, Udaipur, and a Master's in Political Science from Mohan Lal Sukhdiya University, Udaipur. She joined Vishakha three years ago.

With years of field experience, Hema has led teams and designed context-responsive training modules that strengthen psychosocial support and promote well-being in community settings. She brings to her practice a working knowledge of legal systems and rights-based frameworks, which she integrates to navigate complex field realities.
