Mobile library facilitation and organisation
Community engagement with adolescent girls
Creating welcoming and expressive learning environments
Empathetic presence and emotional understanding
Nima joined Vishakha in 2023 and plays a key role in running the Firti Kitabein e-rickshaw library, a mobile learning space that brings books, newspapers, speakers, and creative materials to villages. She carefully manages the setup of the vehicle and ensures the space remains inviting and accessible, especially for adolescent girls. She is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Arts.
Having gradually transitioned from being a Kishori Samooh leader to a facilitator, Nima brings lived understanding and trust-based relationships into her current role. She visits villages alongside local leaders, engaging girls through reading, conversations, and creative activities. Her calm and approachable nature helps create safe, inclusive spaces where girls feel heard and involved.
Nima aspires to pursue a career in nursing in the future, guided by a strong interest in care work and emotional understanding. Outside of her fieldwork, she finds joy in beauty parlour work, especially makeup and nail art, which also becomes a creative and relatable way to bond with girls during her visits.
