Learn and Engage

At Vishakha, we see engagement as a process of mutual learning, reflection, and meaningful contribution. We welcome students, young professionals, researchers, and others interested in gender justice, violence prevention, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), feminist leadership, collective organising, and mental health and well-being to learn from and contribute to our community-based and participatory processes.

Exposure Visit to Vishakha field intervention

Over the years, practitioners, students, and organisations have visited Vishakha to learn from our transformative processes and pedagogies around leadership development and community-based interventions on issues of gender justice, violence prevention, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and mental health and well-being.
These exposure visits offer opportunities to engage with field interventions, interact with community leaders and collectives, and learn from participatory processes and lived experiences. The visits are designed to encourage reflection, dialogue, and the exchange of ideas and practices.

Internship at Vishakha

Internships at Vishakha provide opportunities for students and young professionals to connect theory with practice. Interns become part of ongoing processes and engage with programme implementation, research, documentation, facilitation, and reflection. We encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and learning grounded in community realities.

Volunteering at Vishakha

Volunteering with Vishakha offers a meaningful way to contribute to social change while learning from diverse experiences and communities. Whether through creative contributions, documentation, facilitation, campaigns, or other areas of support, volunteers become part of a collective journey rooted in dignity, care, and social justice.
