Mina Kuwar has been associated with Vishakha since 2014, when the organisation began its work in Salumbar. Over the years, she has taken on an empowering journey as a community facilitator and gradually transitioned into the role of a field centre lead.

She works closely with women and adolescent girls across eight villages, focusing on strengthening leadership, building awareness of their rights, and supporting access to education, safety, and everyday opportunities. Her deep connection to issues of violence and inequality, both through her own life experiences and fieldwork, adds meaning and depth to her work.

Mina believes that every woman and girl should have the space to grow, speak, and move freely, without fear or restriction. She facilitates conversations, addresses individual concerns, and helps create spaces where girls are neither silenced nor left behind. Her work is grounded in local realities and shaped by years of lived and shared experience.

She enjoys getting to know people, listening to their stories, and staying connected to the rhythm of everyday life. Mina values self-driven growth, believing that dreams are fulfilled through consistent effort. She also finds joy in driving, travelling, and experiencing new places, often bringing renewed energy back into her work and relationships. Whether through coordination or one-on-one connection, Mina brings warmth, steadiness, and quiet determination to her role.
